Notify-Me-Tag is a lost baggage prevention and recovery tag...
We are a team of information technology professionals with over 100 years’ combined experience. As the principals of Softdata Consulting, Inc., and Electronic Data Associates, Jim Dombrowski and Howard Jelinek have collaborated through the years to bring products like NotifyMeTag to serve everyone. We enjoy putting our creative juices to work on solving everyday problems for everyone. We’re always moving forward because the future isn’t waiting for new solutions.
Our vision is to introduce NotifyMeTag as a product used by people of all ages. Namely, people with an interest in personal item protection. Everyone has certain personal items that they consider important, valuable, or irreplaceable. We are very excited to offer the NotifyMeTag service for client peace of mind knowing there is a very good chance of recovering a lost personal high value item.
History:
A couple of years ago we developed a similar notification product for mail and package deliveries. “https://YourMailIsHere.com” notifies the owner of a delivery, when delivery personnel recognize the owner’s “Notify Me” card and scan it to complete the owner’s delivery. The scan immediately sends the card owner a delivery notification email for the owner to act upon, to prevent theft of such item(s).
Birth:
NotifyMeTag.com was born when we used the same concept to attach a small key-chain type tag to any valuable personal item, that could be lost, and provide the lost item finder a fast and easy way to reconnect the lost item to the owner. We went one step further by adding the GPS scan location of the finder and provided the GPS location link inside the notification email sent to the owner. Our tags have a hole in the tag for easy attachment.
Benefit:
Instant email notification is the benefit gained for peace of mind because the owner maintains recovery control of personal lost items and/or deliveries. Tags contain no personal information, have no power requirements, and will work indefinitely. Each of the owner’s tags or cards are uniquely coded to know which one was scanned and when.
